Siedlce University of Natural Sciences and Humanities is the only university in the Masovian Voivodship apart from universities in Warsaw.

Students choose between programmes at the 4 faculties:

  • Faculty of Humanities
  • Faculty of Natural Sciences
  • Faculty of Economic and Legal Sciences
  • Faculty of Sciences

We offer 23 undergraduate (first-cycle) programmes of study, 15 graduate (second-cycle) programmes and 5 third-cycle studies in Polish.

The University owns 5 residential halls with 700 places. They are all of a high standard and offer access to the Internet. Having specially built doorways, lifts, and specially equipped rooms for the disabled, residential halls are also fully adjusted to the needs of this group of students. The halls are in the neighborhood of lecture halls and laboratories.

The main goals of Career Bureau is to offer individual guidance in professional self- development and to assist students and graduates in active search of employment and internship opportunities. In particular, it helps to plan students’ career paths by organizing practical workshops on: job interviews and writing application documents,

  • development of communication and self-presentation skills,
  • stress management,
  • recruitment techniques.

Siedlce University was the first educational institution in Poland to enrol the disabled as students in1989.We offer a number of different services according to students’ needs to enable them to be fully included in the life of the University. We offer accommodation in dormitories with rooms specially prepared for students with mobility problems. We help the students to move between the different University buildings in a special van with a lift. Visually impaired students learn how to use equipment and different software during Typhlo-informatics classes. For students with hearing impairment we provide sign language translators’ presence during most of the classes. We offer speech therapy and Polish Language and English Language

Students who belong to the Academic Sports Union can participate in training sessions of the following sports disciplines: aerobics, karate, basketball, bodybuilding, athletics, football, volleyball, chess, ballroom dance, modern dance, taekwondo, table tennis and horse riding.

The Centre for Horse Riding has been functioning since 1984. It organizes riding classes within the curriculum for students and courses for people from outside the university who, apart from learning to ride a horse, may also get a licence of a horse riding instructor. In cooperation with the University Horse Riding Club, the Centre organizes horse riding camps, promoting an active way of spending one’s leisure time.

Siedlce is situated in the east of Mazovian Province, around 100 km from Poland’s capital city Warsaw. Its location on an important international route linking Berlin and Moscow as well as its close proximity to the country’s capital contributed to a very dynamic development of Siedlce
