Foreign Reporting at Collegium Civitas is a specialization which helps students to receive the skills of a newsperson abroad who presents the information of a foreign country. The classes teach students to get the essentials of a foreign correspondent’s job: work conditions in international environment, acquisition of information sources and ability to verify them, ability to establish communication and transfer correspondence. The students of the course analyze some special feature of correspondent`s work in especially important places like Brussels and Strasburg (headquarters of EU), USA, Russia and Post-Soviet States, Middles East and North Africa, China and Far East, African States, Latin America. The classes are conducted by the outstanding journalists with rich experience of working abroad. The specialization Foreign Reporting helps students to receive the following skills and knowledge:
the rules of writing journalistic texts;
information research and verification;
the ability to pass hot news;
media world functioning;
particular characteristics of journalist`s work in international environment;
the tools of modern information and communication technologies with regard to social media sphere.
Employment perspectives:
creating a high quality Internet content for blogs, video blogs,
YouTube films;
photo agencies;
information agencies;
editorial office (radio, press, television, Internet);
public and private media.

Summer intake 2016/2017 starts on April 6, 2016.
For international candidates the summer admissions deadline is July 31, 2016.
For the prospective students from the EU countries, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Island, Norway, Switzerland, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan the deadline is extended till September 5, 2016.
Beginning of courses is October 4, 2016 (full-time studies) and October 8, 2016 (part-time studies)
