Students choose from three basic elective streams: English Studies, English Philology and Foreign Language (French, German, Spanish, Italian or Russian) and Cultural Studies.
The first cycle courses are organized into three modules:
Module 1: Basics - Compulsory courses in literature, culture and linguistics as well as general English.
Module 2: Development - Students choose one of the three options: academic English, culture or another foreign language and choose from the courses offered for the selected option.
Module 3: Application – Professional training in teaching or translation.


The studies are free of charge for Polish and the EU/EFTA citizens.
The charge of 2000 EUR/year applies for students from outside the EU/EFTA, exclusive of an additional 120 EUR charge that covers registration fee.
For students of Polish origin the tuition is reduced by 50%. Please check UL website for updates about payments.

A high school diploma, a transcript of records with the subjects/grades and a certificate of proficiency in English for foreigners (unless the secondary education was taught in English) are required.
