Asian Studies is a special program embodied into the International Studies framework. Beside obligatory courses we offer special classes dedicated to the field of Asian Studies. The programme is a mix of intensive Chinese or Japanese language courses with classes covering various political, business and social problems of East Asian countries.

A graduate from the Asian Studies programme will learn the following skills:

  • how to speak Chinese/Japanese language;
  • how to understand the fascinating world of Chinese and Japanese politics, so different from what you may expect;
  • how to do business with Asian partners and why it is sometimes so difficult;
  • how Asian development influences your everyday life;
  • how you can personally benefit from the fast development of various contacts between Europe and Asia.


The charge of 2500 PLN/year applies for Polish and the EU/EFTA citizens.
2500 EUR/year for students from outside the EU/EFTA, exclusive of an additional 120 EUR charge that covers administrative fee (for students of Polish origin the tuition is reduced by 50%).

education requirements

Studies are for graduates of Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes of all study fields. The applicants should be able to use English on advanced level (B2). The graduates of fields other that humanities or social sciences will be obliged to complete first-cycle level courses as indicated by the Dean, in order to achieve the assumed study effects.
